Trying to make my first 2SID.so what adress does this version recognise as the second chip? (In my player I used D500, but that can be fixed I suppose) Make sure you set the SID file header version to $0003. You can write $50 at offset $007A in the SID header to specify $D500. In the header of the SID file you can specify the address of the second SID chip. Submitted by Fred on 3 January $D500 is fine. (The latter two adresses may of course conflict with common carts, but everyone knows that.)
At least in more recent day 2sid hardware. I think $d420, $de00, and $df00 are more common in actual 2sid hardware. Ok, if I'm lucky some kind soul will make a proper. Let's not be jealous on colorful huppyfluppy stuff of other systems pimps, this is about music, not visual pr0n ) Everyting which I can make look like Win98 on my screen makes me sooo happy. PS: And pllleease leave the looks/interface as simple, plain and clear as it is. But finally I also overcame my laziness and updated my June 2005 version :) Was really worth it! Great features! This version is messing up too much SIDs I like to listen to. So now I'm going back to an older version, aswell.
I noticed that this one plays high pass filtered sounds at very low volume, I kept wondering and wondering what I did wrong with SID-Wizard until I finally tested with another version.

SID plugin for XMPlay worked right away, using that until I know what's up. Humm I used SidPlay2 on my old PC but with this one on my new PC I can't get any sound even though my detected sound card is selected. I miss the mixer (being able to listen to a channel individually helped for tune analysis a lot) but this is still a fantastic player? Are there going to be any more updates? Still my standard SID player on Windows!!! <3 Or can anybody recommend a better Windows solution? This, like the previous versions, still crashes when I try to navigate a network (samba) volume.
